Enroll America has released an issue brief on health insurance literacy entitled “A Framework on Health Insurance Literacy for the Outreach and Enrollment Community.” It explains the importance of health insurance literacy and the lack of it among consumers. This makes for an effective case for the role that consumer assistance programs can fill in bridging this knowledge gap.
