The national office of Easter Seals is doing research to collect information about how the benefits in the Affordable Care Act are working in the real world. This project is seeking information about the experience of individuals who have purchased insurance plans through the exchanges in six states: Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Texas. Easter Seals is asking that you forward this survey to organizations, staff, volunteers or community members to see if we can get this information from people who fit that description. The goal is to determine whether certain benefits are accessible, if modifications at either the state or federal level would assist people in getting what they need and lay the groundwork to seek those changes
The survey should take about 10 minutes to fill out and can be accessed by clicking here. The deadline is September 15, 2015.
If there are questions, please contact us and we can put you in contact with the appropriate people at Easter Seals.
Update: We have learned that the deadline for completing this survey has been extended to December 1. (11/19/15)
