Previously, we have reported on the National Health Council’s “Putting Patients First” website which provides tools to help consumers evaluate plans such as a cost calculator. Now they have added a collection of useful resources which individuals can use when evaluating plans – including our own Disability Guide. This section of the “Putting Patients First” website is entitled “Answer My Questions” and can be found here.
“Putting Patients First” has also added a tool entitled “Explore my Options” which gives random conditions that you could acquire and then calculates what the estimated costs of that condition would be and the coverage various plans would provide. The “Explore my Options” tool can be accessed here.
