ASPE Releases Report Highlighting Individuals Eligible for but Not Receiving Tax Credits

October 5, 2016 by NDNRC

Yesterday, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) released a report which helps to identify those individuals who remain uninsured but would be eligible for premium tax credits if they enrolled. Some of the key findings include the fact that there are approximately 9 million uninsured individuals who would be eligible for tax credits if they enrolled and that there are 2.5 million individuals who are enrolled in a plan outside of the marketplace who would be eligible for subsidies if they enrolled in a qualified health plan through the marketplace. The 2.5 million individuals were also broken down by state so that you can get an idea of how many of these individuals are near you. To download a copy of the report, click here.
