Kaiser Resources Examine Tax Credits Under AHCA

The Kaiser Family Foundation has released two new resources which examine how the premium tax credits would work under the American Health Care Act (AHCA) in comparison with the current structure under the ACA. The first is an issue brief entitled “How Affordable Care Act Repeal and Replace Plans Might Shift Health Insurance Tax Credits.” The brief has the chart below which demonstrates how the tax credits would work at various ages and income levels. The other resource is an interactive map which shows how the tax credits would work for both the ACA and the AHCA on a county by county basis. For this interactive map, click here.
