The Kaiser Family Foundation has released a new issue brief entitled “The Role of Medicaid in Rural America.” The brief looks at the important role that Medicaid plays in providing coverage to 52 million children and non-elderly adults in the rural parts of the country and how Medicaid expansion has led to significant coverage gains in those areas.
