A new blog post from the Commonwealth Fund takes a look at the trends for insurance coverage comparing the numbers for 2018 with prior years. They found that the uninsured rate for adults between the ages of 19-64 was at 15.5% in 2018 which is an increase from 2016 when the uninsured rate was at its lowest – 12.7%. The blog goes on to break down the uninsured rates for different demographics including income level, age group and geography, among others.
