According to a report from the Kaiser Family Foundation, states have outlined and are implementing unwinding plans for the end of the continuous coverage requirement. This impact will vary significantly from state to state as it relates to ex parte renewals rates, communication plans, staff capacity, and differing operational policies for current Medicaid enrollees. However, over half of the states have waited until April to start this process and plan to implement renewal redeterminations over 12 to 14 months.
