New Resources on the NDNRC

June 27, 2014 by NDNRC

As a follow-up to last week’s Enroll America Conference, we’ve added several resources to the NDNRC website. These include Enroll America’s “State of Enrollment Report,” “Certified Application Counselor Program: Early Lessons” issue brief and “Fast-Track Medicaid Enrollment Saves States Money” issue brief.

Another new resource is an issue brief from Georgetown University’s Health Policy Institute entitled “Renewing Medicaid and CHIP Under the Affordable Care Act,” so if you are preparing to assist consumers with reapplying for Medicaid and/or CHIP, be sure to check out this resource.

For those navigators doing enrollment work in Utah, we recently added a link to a searchable database Medicaid tool from Utah’s Department of Health. This can be accessed on the Utah state page. If you are interested in seeing or what resources we may have for your state, be sure to check out the state pages, which can be accessed from the state map on our homepage.

Two weeks ago in our blog, we highlighted resources to assist you understand MAGI. To continue to aid in your understanding of the pricipal, be sure to check out the presentation from the National Health Law Program (NHeLP) entitled “The World According to MAGI.”

Some other resources we’ve added this week include an issue brief from the Commonwealth Fund entitled “Mitigating the Effects of Churning,” a report from Community Catalyst on “Connecting Consumers to Coverage” and an issue brief from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Urban Institute entitled “Measuring Medicaid/CHIP Enrollment Progress under the Affordable Care Act.” Finally, we added CMS’s tool on helping consumers on a “Roadmap to Better Care.”

All of these resources can be found on our Resources & Links page, which can be accessed here.
