Late last week, the Georgetown University Center on Health Insurance Reforms (CHIR) released a report on their observations from providing technical assistance to navigators in six states (Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Ohio). “Report from the First Year of Navigator Technical Assistance Project: Lessons Learned and Recommendations for the Next Year of Open Enrollment” highlights the importance consumer assistance programs played in year one and the continued role they will need to play moving not just into year two, but beyond.
