Yesterday, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that they would be providing a special enrollment period (SEP) for those who began an application prior to Sunday’s (2/15) deadline. Individuals who started an application on healthcare.gov prior to the close of open enrollment on Sunday will be permitted to complete their application this week.
