STATE BENCHMARK PLANS & ENROLLMENT STATISTICS
If you’re looking for more information on the various state benchmark plans and the essential health benefits (EHBs) in each state, be sure to check out this week’s blog post which addresses what some of the states are already doing and/or considering. In some instances, there is still time for public comment. We’ll be adding to this blog post as we get information on more states, so you’ll want to check back regularly. The blog also has links to some other resources on EHBs. To view the blog post, click here.
Yesterday, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Medicaid enrollment numbers for March 2015. To read our news item which includes a link to the report, click here. This week, CMS also issued an enrollment snapshot for open enrollment in year 2. Both of these reports along with other enrollment numbers can be found on our Resources & Links page under “Enrollment Statistics.”
Last week, we reported that we were at the Alliance of Information & Referral Systems (AIRS) Conference where we presented a session entitled “Health Insurance Jeopardy in Year 2 of Open Enrollment: Double Jeopardy.” It was meant to follow up on our Year One Health Insurance Jeopardy presentation. If you weren’t at the conference or were unable to attend the session, the slides have been archived on the NDNRC website. Archived presentations and webinars for the NDNRC can be found here.
Are you looking for local partners to help with outreach to the disability community? The NDNRC has funded eleven Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) for the second year of enrollment. The COCs will increase collaborations in the community, dissemination and outreach efforts and enrollment of people with disabilities in the ACA. To find a COC, click here.
