CMS Releases SEP Enrollment Data

August 14, 2015 by NDNRC

Yesterday, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released data on the enrollment of individuals in qualified health plans (QHP) as a result of special enrollment periods (SEPs) from February 23 through June 30, 2015. During that time period, over 940,000 individuals enrolled in a QHP. It should also be noted that these numbers are only for the states on the federally facilitated marketplace (34 states)  or states where the state-based marketplace utilizes the healthcare.gov platform (3 states).

To view the CMS fact sheet with all the numbers and breakdowns by state, click here. The link for this fact sheet can also be found on our Resources & Links page under “Enrollment Statistics.”
