THE NDNRC WEEKLY UPDATE IS BACK!
After taking the month of August off from our Weekly Updates, we return just as two big announcements related to the marketplaces are made. First of all on Wednesday, CMS announced the organizations who are receiving navigator funding for Open Enrollment Year 3 and beyond. The other big announcement came yesterday when HHS released proposed rules on anti-discrimination in healthcare programs, including the marketplace. Public comments to the proposed rules are due November 6th.
On Monday, CMS released the Eligibility Determinations and Enrollment Report for Medicaid from June 2015. To read our news item which includes a link to download the report, click here. The report can also be found on our Resources & Links page under “Enrollment Statistics.”
Are you looking for local partners to help with outreach to the disability community? The NDNRC has funded eleven Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) for the second year of enrollment. The COCs will increase collaborations in the community, dissemination and outreach efforts and enrollment of people with disabilities in the ACA. To find a COC, click here.
