NDNRC RECEIVES YEAR 3 FUNDING
We were pleased to announce this week that the National Disability Navigator Resource Collaborative (NDNRC) has received funding for a third year. As part of that new year of funding, we are expanding our Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) from eleven to eighteen. The seven new locations will be located in six states. The collaborative continues to be made possible by an additional one-year grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
The National Health Council has released a new study entitled “Measuring the Patient Experiences in Exchanges” which examines consumer satisfaction of marketplace plans of those individuals who have chronic conditions. The Kaiser Family Foundation has published a new issue brief that looks at the number of Americans who remain uninsured. This issue brief also has stats for each state, so be sure to check out our news item to download a copy and see how your state fares by clicking here. Last Friday’s CMS Assisters webinar addressed the issues that returning consumers may have when they are reconciling their Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTC) and attempt to get redetermined if they are eligible for APTC in 2016. Are you looking for local partners to help with outreach to the disability community? The NDNRC is funding eighteen Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) for the third year of enrollment.
