Last week, the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) released their report on the enrollment totals for Open Enrollment Year 3 (OE3). The ASPE report indicates that 4.9 million new customers signed up for coverage in 2016. Along with those who were automatically renewed for their plans in 2016, this brings the total to 12.7 million people who enrolled for coverage in 2016.
