Yesterday, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released a report entitled “2015 National Healthcare Quality and Disparities Report and 5th Anniversary Update on the National Quality Strategy.” Data in the report shows that the rate of people under age 65 who were uninsured decreased from 18 percent to 10 percent, including a significant drop for individuals 18 to 29 years of age (from 31 percent to 15 percent) and those who are low income (from 44 percent to 25 percent).
