Health Insurance Jeopardy, Round 2 – Part 1
Last year, the NDNRC released a series of videos entitled “Health Insurance Jeopardy” (the summary blog of this series can be found here). We are proud to announce that over the next week, we will be releasing a new series entitled “Health Insurance Jeopardy Round 2 – Double Jeopardy.” If you haven’t seen any of our presentations before, we like to say that a consumer looking at plans on the ACA marketplace is like playing a game of Health Insurance Jeopardy, because like the game show Jeopardy, it’s not about the answer – it’s about asking the right question. Consumers need to make sure they are asking the right questions about the plans being offered in order to make an informed choice. This new video series will be released over the next week and is based on our population specific fact sheets, covering the following populations and their medical needs: intellectual disabilities, mental illness, multiple sclerosis, paralysis and veterans. The series will conclude with a video on accessibility concerns for these and other populations. The videos will be posted on our YouTube channel which can be accessed here and individual links will also be added to our “Webinars/Presentations” page here.
