Yesterday, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the enrollment manual for the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP). The manual applies to the upcoming open enrollment period for 2017 (OE4) and applies to any of the SHOPs in states where the SHOP is federally facilitated. The manual also addresses some issues in the individual marketplace including data matching issues, premium payment due dates and certain transactions related to re-determinations and renewals.
