Kaiser Brief Examines AHCA, Medicaid and People with Disabilities

March 16, 2017 by NDNRC

The Kaiser Family Foundation has a new issue brief which looks at the Medicaid program and people with disabilities and the effect that the American Health Care Act (AHCA) would have on this population. The issue brief entitled “Medicaid Restructuring under the American Health Care Act and Nonelderly Adults with Disabilities” examines what type of healthcare coverage these individuals have, how do they qualify for Medicaid, what their income levels are like, what type of services they receive through Medicaid and how much this costs the Medicaid program. The issue brief then that looks at the effect that the AHCA would have on all of this. To download a copy of the issue brief, click here.
