Avalere Brief Examines Impact on States of Graham-Cassidy

September 20, 2017 by NDNRC

A new report from Avalere is out today and it looks at the effect that the Graham-Cassidy bill would have on the funding each state receives from the federal government. Overall, the report indicates that federal Medicaid funding under Graham-Cassidy would be reduced by $489 billion from 2020-2027 and while a handful of states would receive more Medicaid funds under Graham-Cassidy in the short term, all states would see a reduction in federal funding beyond 2027.
