On Tuesday, the Brookings Institution held an event entitled “What’s Ahead for the Individual Health Insurance Market?” The event examined the effects that recent actions by the Trump Administration have had on the marketplace, including ending the cost-sharing reduction payments and proposing regulations which would allow non-ACA compliant plans through associations and short-term plans.
