New Kaiser Brief Examines Effect of Premiums in Indiana Medicaid

The Kaiser Family Foundation has released a new issue brief which examines the effect that adding premiums to the Medicaid program in Indiana has had on beneficiaries. The brief is entitled “Digging Into the Data: What Can We Learn from the State Evaluation of Healthy Indiana (HIP 2.0) Premiums” and highlights the fact that over half of those individuals who were required to pay premiums were unable to do so and suffered negative consequences.
