Data Shows Slight Decreases in Coverage for Early 2019

August 22, 2019 by NDNRC

A new report from the Kaiser Family Foundation details the data on the amount of people covered through the ACA exchanges through the first quarter of 2019. The data shows that enrollment for the first quarter of 2019 is at 13.7 million people, down approximately 5% compared to the first quarter of 2018. However, this is not as dramatic a reduction in coverage as had been seen in 2017 or 2018 and still represents an increase in coverage since 2013, the year before the ACA was fully implemented.
