Report Shows Rise in Medicaid Enrollment since Pandemic

A new report from the Kaiser Family Foundation shows that Medicaid enrollment increased with 1.2 million people enrolling from December 2019 through April 2020. This was after Medicaid enrollment had dropped for the prior two years (December 2017-December 2019). The rise in Medicaid enrollment in March and April was nearly universal across the country as all but five states saw an increase in their Medicaid enrollment.
