Are you wondering what other navigator programs have learned from year one and recommendations they are following for year two? Seedco has just issued a report on its navigator program. Seedco runs navigator programs in four states: Georgia, Maryland, New York and Tennessee. The report looks at the factors that led to successful enrollment in their navigator programs and makes recommendations based on these consumer experiences. Another report that came out this week was one from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) on rehabilitation and habilitation benefits. The report entitled “Analysis of Rehabilitation and Habilitation Benefits in Qualified Health Plans” addresses both the availability of these benefits as well as the adequacy of information on rehabilitation and habilitation benefits which is available to the consumer when choosing between plans.
