NEW BLOG POST ON PROPOSED HHS RULES
Yesterday, we posted a summary of the new proposed HHS rules on our blog. The national office of Easter Seals is doing research to collect information about how the benefits in the Affordable Care Act are working in the real world. This project is seeking information about the experience of individuals who have purchased insurance plans through the exchanges in six states: Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Texas. As we reported previously, Montana is looking to expand Medicaid. However, this expansion is not a traditional expansion and it requires approval from CMS. This week, the Kaiser Family Foundation released a fact sheet that goes over the details of the plan. Are you looking for local partners to help with outreach to the disability community? The NDNRC has funded eleven Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) for the second year of enrollment.
