LOOKING FOR:
Adults ages 18 to 63 with any type of disability and/or chronic health condition to participate in interviews about their experiences accessing health insurance and health care services*
*people of color and males are especially encouraged to participate
The Collaborative on Health Reform and Independent Living (CHRIL), is a 5-year research project funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR, #90DP0075-01-00) to study how health reforms affect working-age adults with disabilities. CHRIL researchers from the University of Kansas are recruiting individuals with all types of disabilities and/or chronic health conditions to share their experiences getting and using health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and/or other coverage and how coverage or not having coverage affects your access to needed health services.
- From December 2018 through March 2019, we will be interviewing 20-25 adults with disabilities from across the country by telephone
- Interviews will last about 20-40 minutes
- Those who complete an interview will receive $40
