A new report from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) addresses the unintended consequences which Medicaid work requirements can have and how there are no easy solutions to the problems they create. The report is entitled “Medicaid Work Requirements Can’t Be Fixed: Unintended Consequences Are Inevitable Result” and highlights the problems the work requirements cause for people who are already working and how the requirements do not lead to an increase in employment for Medicaid beneficiaries.
