The graphic also includes dates for open enrollment – November 1, 2022-January 15, 2023.Open Enrollment Year 10 (OE10) started last Tuesday and CMS has designated this week as Disability Week of Action to encourage people with disabilities to review their health coverage for 2023 and determine if they need to make changes for the coming year. Throughout this week, AAHD will be participating in activities which highlight the opportunity which OE10 provides to the disability community and others who do not have health insurance or may just want to make changes for next year.

Throughout the week, we will be hosting social media activities and posting here on the NDNRC blog. Here is our schedule for the week.

On Tuesday, we will be debuting a new comic character, Olli the NaviGator we will be using throughout OE10 to highlight enrollment opportunities in a fun way! Check back tomorrow on the NDNRC News and on all of AAHD’s social media channels for NaviGator.

On Wednesday, we will be posting on our blog post “ACA Coverage and Disability – What It Means and Important Stats.”

Image of a mother rubbing noses with her son who has a hearing aid with message “Live Twitter chat November 10 coverage is inclusive: join #OE10DisabilityChat on Thursday, 11/10 at 3 PM ET to learn more about healthcare options, and how to enroll in a plan that’s right for you!” Graphic also includes logos for AAHD and Young Invincibles and AAHD’s twitter handle @AAHD1.On Thursday, from 3:00-4:00 PM ET, we will be hosting a Twitter chat entitled “Coverage Is Inclusive.” You can follow along on our AAHD Twitter account or by following the #OE10DisabilityChat.

We will conclude the week on Friday by releasing a new NDNRC Fact Sheet on Renewals and Redeterminations which is intended to help Navigators answer specific questions that people with disabilities might ask about the annual renewal process for Marketplace plans. We will also be highlighting the week’s events in our Friday newsletter – the NDNRC Update.
