OVER 37 MILLION HAVE THEIR COVERAGE RENEWED
As of March 4, over 17.7 million Medicaid enrollees have lost coverage, according to data from the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) with 41.3 million renewals still remaining. 19% of those who completed the renewal process were disenrolled and 37 million enrollees were able to qualify for renewed coverage. The large range of disenrollment rates in each state varies, with the highest of 57% being in Utah and the lowest of 13% in Main. Out of all states with available data, 70% of all those disenrolled were due to procedural reasons.

The Georgetown University Center for Children and Families covered the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services vaccine coverage and payment policies toolkit for those who have Medicaid or CHIP coverage. Language includes licensure requirements, streamlining provider enrollment and training, and promotion of stand-alone vaccine counseling with space for clarifying questions from families.
The Commonwealth Fund reviewed how community health centers can meet the rising demand for behavioral health care. Between 2018 and 2022, an increase of 39% in the number of health-related visits for mental health care was seen in community health centers. Many people with disabilities utilize these services, showcasing the importance in growth.
