ASPE RELEASES REPORT ON OE3

Last week, the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) released their report on the enrollment totals for Open Enrollment Year 3 (OE3). If you’re still trying to figure out the Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for the 2017 Marketplace, Kaiser Health News has a helpful article that outlines three changes that consumers will see as a result of the rule changes. If you have consumers asking about discrepancies in their tax forms related to their 2015 coverage, be sure to check out the new blog post from Health Affairs which addresses resolving conflicts within these forms. To access this blog, click here.

The Colorado Health Foundation has released a summary report on the economic effect of Medicaid expansion in Colorado. The summary report can be found here. They’ve also prepared an infographic which highlights some of their key findings. This infographic can be found here. The report and infographic can also be found on the Colorado state page under “State Specific Resources.”

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities is hosting a webinar next Thursday, March 24 at 2:00 PM ET about the Marketplace appeals process. To register for this webinar, click here. The Kaiser Family Foundation recently released an issue brief on the effect that Medicaid expansion has had on treating the homeless population. To read this brief, click here.

Are you looking for local partners to help with outreach to the disability community? The NDNRC is funding eighteen Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) for the third year of our project. This includes the eleven that were funded last year, plus seven new locations in six new states. The COCs increase collaborations in the community, dissemination and outreach efforts and enrollment of people with disabilities in the ACA. To find a COC, click here.
