DOUBLE JEOPARDY VIDEO SERIES IS NOW AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE
Last week, we started releasing a series of videos entitled “Health Insurance Jeopardy Round 2 – Double Jeopardy.” If you haven’t seen any of our presentations before, we like to say that a consumer looking at plans on the ACA marketplace is like playing a game of Health Insurance Jeopardy, because like the game show Jeopardy, it’s not about the answer – it’s about asking the right question. Consumers need to make sure they are asking the right questions about the plans being offered in order to make an informed choice. This new video series is based on our population specific fact sheets and are as follows:
- Part 1: Intellectual Disabilities
- Part 2: Mental Illness
- Part 3: Multiple Sclerosis
- Part 4: Paralysis
- Part 5: Veterans
- Part 6: Accessibility
The first round of Jeopardy videos which we released last year can also be viewed with the following links:
- Part 1: Prescription Drugs
- Part 2: Medical Devices
- Part 3: Rehabilitation and Habilitation Benefits
- Part 4: Medicaid Eligibility
- Part 5: Summary of Benefits and Coverage
- Part 6: Mental Health
All the videos can also be accessed on our YouTube channel by clicking here and individual links are also on our “Webinars/Presentations” page here.

The Georgetown Center on Health Insurance Reforms (CHIR) recently issued a report on the consumer experiences in the federally facilitated marketplaces for 2016 enrollment. The report was based on analysis of the calls received by the Assister Health Resource Center (AHRC) during 2016 open enrollment from November 2015 – January 2016. To read more about what’s included in the report or to download a copy of it, check out our news item by clicking here.
Are you looking for local partners to help with outreach to the disability community? The NDNRC is funding eighteen Community Outreach Collaboratives (COCs) for the third year of our project. This includes the eleven that were funded last year, plus seven new locations in six new states. The COCs increase collaborations in the community, dissemination and outreach efforts and enrollment of people with disabilities in the ACA. To find a COC, click here.
