Last month, new numbers were released on the amount of people who have lost Medicaid coverage in Arkansas as a result of failing to comply with the state’s work requirements. An additional 4,655 people lost their coverage through Medicaid for their failure to comply with the requirements. This brings the total number of individuals who have lost Medicaid coverage to just under 17,000. There is still a real concern that many of the individuals who are losing coverage either are meeting the requirements already or are exempt, but either they do not know about the reporting requirements or have experienced difficulty navigating the process.
