AAHD RELEASES COMPARATIVE COVID-19 SURVEY REPORT
With the Labor Day weekend approaching, we are publishing the NDNRC Update a day early. Enjoy your holiday weekend!
In April, AAHD conducted a rapid, real-time online survey of COVID-19 and persons with a range of disabilities. The purpose of the COVID-19 & Disability Project is to understand the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on access to health care and on adults with a range of disabilities responding to COVID-19. AAHD developed, implemented, and analyzed an online survey using disability identifiers from the American Community Survey. This week, we are releasing our comparative analysis report entitled “COVID-19 & Survey of Adults with Disabilities: Comparative Analysis of Results by Type of Disability”. The comparative report complements previously released summary and analysis reports of the four individual disability groups, including individual reports for the four subgroups under the cognition group and looks at the differences/similarities in disability group responses during COVID-19.
All of the reports, summaries and infographics from the COVID-19 & Disability Survey are available on our COVID-19 & Disability Survey webpage. Additionally, links to all our COVID-19 videos as well as other resources on COVID-19 can be found on our COVID-19 resource page. The COVID-19 & Disability Project is funded by the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation.
Archives of our weekly updates are available on the NDNRC website.
